Job Title: Constituent Records Coordinator Â*Office of Institutional Advancement Â*Full-time, Exempt Reports To: Director of Advancement Systems and Services Description: Â*Mills College, an independent liberal arts college for women with co-educational graduate programs, is seeking a skilled data analyst to work closely with and support the College’s fundraising operation. The Constituent Records Coordinator, in conjunction with the part-time data analyst, is responsible for managing the constituent records data unit in the Office of Institutional Advancement, ensuring the timely and accurate maintenance of alumnae and donor information in the SungardSCT Banner Advancement System, retrieval of records and generation of lists and reports, quality assurance. The Office of Institutional Advancement (OIA) manages and coordinates the primary fundraising activities for the College which ensure students have access to exceptional academic and educational opportunities in a vibrant and thriving campus environment that prepares them for lives of leadership and personal fulfillment, like so many of Mills’ notable graduates. The financial investment from alumni and friends provide student scholarships, facilities, technology and other areas of need while opening doors for students for generations. Duties include, but are not limited to: Evaluating and recording information in the database Writing and executing queries and generating reports Analyzing reports, procedures, database forms and structures to determine best practices in order to serve current needs of the College Write specifications for programming changes, test new programs, organize and monitor department-wide testing of new releases Document and disseminate procedures and standards Ensuring integrity of data by formulating quality assurance program and organizing data clean-up projects Â* Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree At least two years experience entering and retrieving data from a complex data management system Knowledge of relational database concepts, Banner preferred data retrieval principles basic logic and set theory research methods Ability to communicate clearly with both non-technical staff and technical staff enter data accurately and quickly, abiding by College standards and meeting deadlines be flexible as institutional priorities change write computer logic rules and program specifications analyze systems and manage data-related projects establish and maintain effective and productive working relationships within a diverse and multicultural environment establish and maintain an effective customer service orientation towards all persons during the course of job performance comply with the College’s Injury and Illness Prevention Program.
