Starting Salary Range: $35,414 - $50,4677 * Brief Description of Duties: Serves as Raiser’s Edge (RE)-NetCommunity Administrator reconciling online activity with corresponding RE database records. Researches and recommends better methods or additional functionality of RE-NetCommunity utilization with regard to the needs of end users. Performs hardware/software upgrades as appropriate. Consults with vendors for effective resolutions to problems. Initiates and enhances electronic communications, including e-mail, RSS, blogs, websites and new technologies. Creates written policy for procedures within the division. Develops and maintains demographic, statistical, tracking and measurement models to evaluate the performance of programs and services deployed by the Office of Alumni Relations, Office of Development, Annual Fund, CofC Alumni Association and CofC Foundation. Serves as the web content manager, providing users with content guidelines and standards for current and future website development. Troubleshoots and verifies links and checks for content errors. Responsible for creating and supervising a training program for RE-NetCommunity to ensure that Institutional Advancement staff are trained in current and updated software, policies and procedures. Ensures that college mandated best practices are employed and maintained throughout Institutional Advancement web-based applications. Minimum Eligibility Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems or a related field or a demonstrated equivalent experience. At least two years of related experience in website/database management and communications, including website and layout, proof-reading and editing. Previous supervisory experience a plus. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply. Successful candidate will exhibit ability to create webpages using a tool such as Dreamweaver. Must work collegially with other technology staff and Institutional Advancement departments. Successful candidate must demonstrate strong human relations skills. Knowledge of SQL, RSS, JavaScript, Perl, computer graphics and Raiser’s Edge is desirable. * Commensurate with education/experience which exceeds the minimum requirements.
