The Gift Entry Associate is responsible for entering and maintaining gifts and pledges in Sungard Business System Resources Advance (BSR) software package, creating and maintaining computer donor records and files; adding, modifying and deleting bio/gift information per emails received in advancement services electronic inbox; logging in daily checks, coordinating verifications of credit cards transactions by UMF and mailing letters of intent for state contributions; verifying BSR batch reports and running quality check reports and making appropriate changes as necessary; processing gift modifications and new gift accounts/allocation agreements for Gifts-in-Kind and cash gifts; maintaining scholarship information; creating alumni, current students, and donor reports; processing gift summary reports, preparing weekly fundraising totals, pledges, payments and outright gift reports; processing payroll deductions for the faculty/Staff Campaign on a monthly basis and reconciling deductions with foundation account statements on a semi-annual basis; and performing other job-related duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS degree in a related field and one year of related full-time work experience. Qualified candidates will have a working knowledge of research methods and statistical techniques and procedures; skill in the use of computers and a variety of software applications such as databases, graphics, spreadsheets; have the ability to present statistical data in appropriate formats; be detail oriented and have excellent communication skills. Additional related experience and formal education in which one has gained the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for full performance of the job, may be substituted for the education or experience requirement on a year-for-year basis with 30 college credits being equivalent to one year of experience.
