Database Coordinator We are currently seeking a junior or entry-level professional to join our Advancement staff. This is an ideal position for someone with excellent initiative and data entry skills to grow their knowledge of the fundraising function. In this position, you will provide support to programs/activities managed by the Advancement Services Department. Perform research on major donors and prospects to determine interest, propensity, and ability to give to The NRA Foundation. Ensure research information is kept up-to-date; write reports as required. Coordinate delivery of research information needed by staff in a timely manner. Ensure that research information is received in a timely manner with accuracy. Create and maintain prospect research files/information for retrieval by staff. Ensure that prospects are entered into Raiser’s Edge with the appropriate coding in an accurate and timely manner. Perform data entry of major donor information as appropriate. Information is received on a daily basis for entry into major donor records. Perform other duties as assigned. Coordinate with department, division, and other NRA staff. Position functions in a fast paced work environment with attention to detail being essential. HS Diploma required; BA/BS Degree preferred. Experience with donor prospect research and Internet research techniques for non-profit fundraising strongly preferred. Experience in dealing with the public and executive personnel desired. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Detail oriented with excellent organization skills essential. Ability to work with a networked PC information and retrieval system. Proven ability to accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously essential. Prior experience with Raiser’s Edge or similar donor information management system a plus. Self-motivated individual essential.
