This position serves as a systems administrator and is responsible for the Campus Call telemarketing program, Central Michigan University's calling center automated dialing system. This individual will be responsible for designing/maintaining interfaces responsible for segmenting and loading data between Millennium and Campus Call databases; the reporting functions for Annual Giving programs, including designing and programming reports, segmenting and loading donor data; handling performance problems and upgrades for both hardware and software. In addition, this position will support Development & Alumni Relations Information Technology activities, including report writing. Other duties as assigned. This position reports to the Director of Annual Giving. Occasional evenings and weekends required. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree, preferably in computer science or information technology; minimum 1-2 years computer operations experience; proficiency with complex database structure; proficiency in SQL, FoxPro, MS Access and Visual Basic; excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong detail and organizational skills. Desired qualifications include experience with Oracle; experience with Millennium, or other fund raising database; experience with Campus Call, or other tele-marketing computer system; experience with Excel and PC troubleshooting helpful; experience with .Net application development; experience in a fund raising environment.
