Raiser's Edge Consultant- Hiring Nationally Job Description We are looking for Advancement Services professionals to hold key Consultant roles within Blackbaud's global Professional Services division and act as industry experts on the application of fundraising technologies and best practices. The Raiser's Edge Consultants are responsible for partnering with some of Blackbaud's largest, most prestigious clients to develop solutions for raising money and efficiently managing information. In this capacity, the Raiser's Edge Consultants must understand the role of technology in fundraising operations, as well as be able to articulate the value of Blackbaud's solutions to both system users and executives. This role is ideal for fundraising services experts who want to fully leverage their knowledge and experience to make a direct and lasting impact on the success of the world's leading nonprofits. This position can expect 80-100% travel and you will work out of your home-based office. Compensation is competitive and consists of a full benefits package, base salary, and performance incentives. Major Responsibilities Consultative Work - Acts as the client-facing Blackbaud representative and fundraising subject matter expert throughout the relationship lifecycle, including prospect visits, onsite consultative work, and ongoing account management. Business Development - Works to prospect, cultivate, solicit, and steward key client relationships. Must be viewed and respected as an industry expert by clients and prospects. Practice Development - Collaborates with other parties throughout Blackbaud to formalize best practices and refine project delivery methods. Works to develop key service offerings for each vertical field (Higher Ed, Healthcare, Faith-Based, etc.). Project Management - Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client expectations. Monitors and reports project status to clients and Blackbaud stakeholders. Requirements * 7 to 10 years experience working in a progressive, fast-paced development / fundraising organization * Relevant experience as a Director of Advancement Services, Director of Development Services, or equivalent role * Extensive knowledge of and/or experience with key business processes and workflows related to Advancement Services. Relevant experience may include but is not limited to: Using advanced reporting and analytic methods to measure and improve fundraising efforts segmenting marketing and direct mail efforts to target communications and focus efforts Development and management of processes related to tracking, monitoring, reporting, and stewarding gifts and relationships Leading teams and managing projects related to fundraising systems and Advancement Services Please contact me via email if you are interested in learning more about this position and attach a Word doc of your resume if you would like to be considered for this opportunity.
