JOB TITLE: Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Development
ORGANIZATION DESCRIPTION: Westchester Community College Foundation was established in 1969 to raise funds for student scholarships, support program and capital needs, and provide resources for professional development at Westchester Community College (in Valhalla, New York), one of the largest community colleges in the State University of New York (SUNY) system.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Development will develop a robust annual giving and alumni development program. The director will plan, organize and implement all activities (identification, cultivation, solicitations, stewardship, and documentation) related to the annual fund, which is currently the Foundation's largest source of unrestricted funds.

The Director will develop and manage alumni fundraising activities and events to retain positive relationships with graduating students and alumni, and encourage their continued financial support for the College and active participation in alumni affairs.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree or higher; minimum of 3 years experience; excellent writing skills required; knowledge of database software, Raiser's Edge experience helpful; overall proficiency in Microsoft Office; excellent interpersonal and communication skills on all levels including students, faculty, alumni and College administration. Local candidates preferred (no travel or relocation costs available.)
