Job Description and Responsibilities This individual will be responsible for managing projects helping nonprofit organizations find and implement fundraising and related software. Clients will look to this person for expertise in software systems and industry best practices. Candidate should have at least five years of Consulting, Development, Advancement Services or Technology experience. Consultant will manage system selection and business process improvement projects. Specific job functions include client relations, running client meetings, writing analysis documents and project management. Candidates should have an excellent working knowledge of any of the major fundraising software packages (Raiser’s Edge, PledgeMaker, BSR Advance, SCT Banner, Millennium, etc.) and database technology in general. The ability to communicate verbally and on paper in a clear and precise manner is fundamental to this position. Qualifications - Minimum of 5 years experience with a non-profit in fundraising or technology role - Hands-on experience with at least one of the major fundraising software systems - Comfortable promoting change management - Strong interpersonal and organizational skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Initiative and ability to assume additional responsibilities - Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Web - Aptitude for organizational process mapping Benefits - Salary commensurate with experience - Paid vacation and sick time - Simple IRA with employer match - Health insurance - Group life insurance - TransitChek - Long-term disability coverage Resumes without a cover letter will be ignored.
