St. Jude Medical Center, one of the leading non-profit acute care medical facilities in Southern California, is seeking a Development Assistant, Database. Under the direction of the Development Database Specialist, this position will provide support of the Raiser’s Edge 7 donor database system at St. Jude Memorial Foundation. Responsibilities will include gift batching, acknowledgment letters, coding, and managing records as required; assist in developing special reports and queries as needed; and work on database maintenance projects.

Qualified candidates must have high school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of 2 or more years of office or administrative experience. Experience in a not-for-profit fundraising environment and a working knowledge of computer networks, interfacing of computer systems, and technology for remote access is preferred. Proficiency in MS Office Products, including Word, Excel and Access. Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal/written) and organizational skills are necessary.
