JOB DESRIPTION: Database Associate

Reports to: IT Specialist

Job Duties:

• gift processing
• acknowledgments
• production of fundraising reports and components for mailings
• maintenance of accurate records in the database
• obtain and maintain donor research information

Strong computer and/or analytical background and experience. Raiser’s Edge training preferable. Bachelor’s Degree with 2-3 years of experience in fundraising setting.

EXPERIENCE:

• Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task with attention to detail and accuracy;

• The “can-do” and positive attitude of the successful candidate along with the ability to achieve results and work and communicate closely with IT and development teams.

• Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

• Two years of experience with Raiser’s Edge or relational database experience desired, including data entry, gift processing and acknowledgement, and reporting.
