Job Description and Responsibilities
This individual will assist with, and eventually manage, technology projects related to fundraising and web-based databases. Consultants must have both the functional understanding of fundraising as well as the technical skills to implement systems solutions. A detailed understanding of database technology and a clear and precise writing style is essential.
Candidates must have an excellent working knowledge of The Raiser's Edge. Knowledge of any of the major web-based CRM/CMS systems is preferred (Kintera, Convio, GetActive). Knowledge of any other major fundraising software packages (DonorPerfect, PledgeMaker, BSR Advance, SCT Banner, Millennium, etc.) is a plus. Desire to learn more about all of these packages is essential.

Qualifications- 3 to 5 years of fundraising systems experience
- Hands-on experience with at least one of the major fundraising software systems
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Initiative and ability to assume additional responsibilities
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email and Web
- SQL knowledge is strongly preferred
