JCA is a full service, independent consulting firm dedicated to providing technical assistance and information management solutions to non-profit organizations, including the performing arts, museum, university and health-care sectors. We specialize in helping organizations implement and effectively utilize the fundraising, ticketing, admissions, visitor services or web-based systems that best fit their needs.

Job Description and Responsibilities
This individual will assist with, and eventually manage, technology projects related to fundraising and web-based databases. Consultants must have both the functional understanding of fundraising as well as the technical skills to implement systems solutions. A detailed understanding of database technology and a clear and precise writing style is essential.
Candidates must have an excellent working knowledge of The Raiser's Edge. Knowledge of any of the major web-based CRM/CMS systems is preferred (Kintera, Convio, GetActive). Knowledge of any other major fundraising software packages (DonorPerfect, PledgeMaker, BSR Advance, SCT Banner, Millennium, etc.) is a plus. Desire to learn more about all of these packages is essential.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of fundraising systems experience
• Hands-on experience with at least one of the major fundraising software systems
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Initiative and ability to assume additional responsibilities
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email and Web
• SQL knowledge is strongly preferred
