Walsh College Job Posting Development Information Services - Full-Time Troy, MI-based Walsh College has an exciting opportunity for a development or non-profit professional to lead in the data management and operations-side of the Colleges fundraising and alumni relations departments. The Manager of Development Information Services will have a significant impact on the Colleges ability to continue to be recognized as a preeminent business education leader. The Development Information Services program will be proactive in the management, analysis and usage of the important relational information collected. Reporting to the Vice President of Development, the Manager of Development Information Services will be a professional member of the Walsh College development management team with overall responsibility for organizing and integrating all data-driven information related to the integrity, management, and security of a comprehensive development program. The Manager will be responsible for the continuous evaluation and effective implementation of all policies and procedures related to the accurate and timely recording, tracking, and reporting of all donations, special event fundraising or campaign progress, prospect research, and major donor "moves management" systems and processes. The position is newly revised and offers the opportunity for an interested professional to create and be responsible for an innovative and comprehensive information and data driven program that will meet and exceed the needs of Walsh College and its Foundation. This leadership position provides the opportunity to suggest and implement changes to the activities, procedures, strategies, and budget planning processes that affect the existing database management process and other development projects and services . Ideal candidates will have five or more years related work experience in the areas of database management, fund development and/or prospect research OR an equivalent combination of education. Previous experience with Raiser's Edge preferred or similar fundraising software required. Fund Development or other professional certification desired. " Advanced Research" or " Relationship Management" skills , (as defined by APRA standards), a definite plus. Knowledge of CASE Standards and IRS regulations preferred. Extensive knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications and a demonstrated ability to analyze and synthesize high volumes of information. Applicants should be innovative self-starters, able to work with a wide variety of people, demonstrate an ability to prioritize and handle a wide variety of projects.
