SYSTEMS ANALYST III/BSR
Loyola Marymount University’s Information Technology Department has an opening for a Systems Analyst III/BSR. The System Analyst is considered the institutional leader in the systems they are responsible for. The System Analyst is responsible for high-level analysis, development, interpretation, and professional development related to the specific systems they are responsible for. Primary responsibilities include consulting with appropriate constituencies to gather information about program needs, objectives, functions, and features to design new procedures or improve existing processes. Conducts research and recommends upgrades or development of new information systems to meet current and projected needs. Reviews, analyzes, implements and upgrades systems and processes related to client operations. Analyzes, defines, and documents user requirements for date workflow and logical processes including interfaces with other systems for the purpose of more efficient operation. Provides technical support and training to all OIT and client staff in the proper use of systems and related products. Other duties include writing detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to use, develop or modify an application. Evaluates requests from users for hardware, software, and problem-solving activities.
