Documenting roles, responsibilities, and workflow can help you achieve your goals by keeping tasks and workers organized with clear objectives. Most organizations could benefit from some form of communication that helps outline business processes – but who has the time to do all that? Recognizing that it’s often difficult to find the time to do the “nice to have” work when the “I need it now” projects are stacking up, I wanted to share two documents. I’ve attached Heller Consulting’s Donation Flowchart and Constituent Data Flowchart, each with a one-page set of instructions detailing how to customize them for your own organization. It should be noted that these flowcharts were created (and should be customized) by using Microsoft Word. These documents are also available as a free download on our website under the “Resources” tab.
