| Tracking Foundation/Corporate Grants
How do ya'all track foundation grants in RE? We have our own internal method of tracking & our grants budget is not large enough to justify tacking on yet another module. I'm working with a database that has been merged from 1 RE db and 2 ResultsPlus db - prior grants appear to have been coded according to program, with a different FUND created for every grant. It's a mess.
My thought is to create 2 funds - one for grants restricted & the other for grants unrestricted and to code the program itself in attributes. To more experienced users: does this make sense? I want to make it as UNcomplicated as possible --- yet have the ability to track and reconcile w/ the grant manager.
Any suggestions are GREATLY APPRECIATED for this newbie!
