Hi all!
Does anyone no where I can find some sort of benchmarks for staffing a development office? For example: a two FTE office is expected to raise X, a three FTE office is expected to raise x, etc. Does anyone know if such a thing exists?!?

I've never seen one, however I'd be surprised if there were with that sort of list - it would be too broad, and difficult to measure your performance against.

Whenever I've been tasked with something like this, I've had to create my own, specifically targetting competing organisations, and organisations elsewhere in the same field as the organisation that employs me.

Ie: If I work in a University, 'd first target the other Universitys' of the same approximate size, or geographic area. If I was doing this for a small, regional university/college or school, there really isn't much point comparing myself against the Harvards or Oxfords out there.
