Pledge Reminder Envelopes

Does anyone print anything special on the outside envelope when mailing pledge reminders, to get people's attention so they actually open the envelope?

We put our theme for the year on the outside envelope, "Libraries change Lives" for example.

At the moment we don't put anything on the outside of our envelopes. In the past I have put things like "Look what you have done" or at the end of the fiscal year "It's not too late..."

If memory serves me right we once put "Because of you..." And the Johnson box on the letter said something like "... we can go Above and Beyond."

It is hard to say if they performed any better then the blank ones, but anything to make it look like they are so lucky to have to opportunity to give again or that we appreciate what they have already done is the way to go.
