We have always used to rely on Raiser's Edge report to figure out how much money we have raised for that Fiscal Year or prevous onces. Now, that we have Financial Edge so are we able to use the FE to figure out the money we have raised for a particular Fiscal Year?

Depending on how the donations to your organization are booked into FE there may be some slight differences - do they only use sold stock value or do they use the full value that the donor gets? Do they discount pledges to show expected value in year XYZ or do they report them at face value?

We balance with our Financial Edge quarterly, but all the "money raised" reports come from Raiser's Edge.

Yes, we only book stock sold, and we report face value. I think you partially gave the answer of the question that I was looking for when you said, "but all the "money raised reports come from Raiser's Edge." Since money raised can be run on RE, then My question is what report do you run in the FE to see money that has been booked? Is it Financial statement -> Cash flow/ balance sheet?

I'll have to check with our FE guys - I"m not sure what they run - (but learning more all the time)
