Session Description: Join us for this interactive discussion about the techniques that a nonprofit can deploy to become a more effective organization and business partner. Case studies will be used that include information on how to leverage real-estate opportunities as a “public amenity” through three-way negotiations with developers and local governments; how to position your product, service, and audience to be more attractive to commercial enterprise; and how to identify and initiate commercial partnership opportunities without compromising your mission. Attendees will be encouraged to provide examples of commercial partnership opportunities for their organizations, and there will be a discussion about how to evaluate and measure the potential risks and rewards of some of those opportunities.
