Is the Chicago users group pretty much dead? I'd really like to meet up with other RE users and develop some professional relationships and meet some people that understand what I'm ranting about!

These user groups are not formal organizations. Someone has to take the lead to put it on. You can also contact your account rep about setting up a formal once with them that will be announced to all Chicago and area clients.

Much as I'd love to hope that all BB clients will eventually join and be active, I don't know that it is realistic

Just to clarify, I say its unrealistic for me because the nearest user group (that isn't my users) is Seattle.. Not because they are bad thing....

just making everyone realizes that...

Well, since the last user group kind of died, I would love to get another one together, even if it's just an informal meeting downtown at an eatery or something.

How does this work? Do I just post a few dates and see what works?

Excellent... my account rep (Brian Grace) will actually be in Chicago on 2/21 doing some sort of presentation that I'll be attending, so if I can flag him down after that, I can get the ball rolling.
