The Portland local user's group is coming off of it's hiatus!

Note - this is not the Blackbaud-sponsored user's group - it's an independent group that formed out of the Blackbaud-sponsored regional group a few years ago.

Our next meeting is scheduled for April 17 from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at Clark College at 1933 Fort Vancouver Way in Vancouver.

Chris Mildner will be presenting ways to use Raiser's Edge for prospect tracking and management without
the Prospect module. Chris is the director of prospect research at Clark College Foundation and has 18 years of research and database experience.

We will meet in the Clark College Foundation lobby and go over to the Penguin Union Building (PUB), room 258-B. If anyone has access issues, please let Chris know when you RSVP so she can arrange to use the golf cart.

Please RSVP to Chris at cmildnerATclark.edu so she can let the campus know how many guests we will have and order snacks and beverages.

The college lots require a permit, so follow the directions below to the Clark College Foundation parking lot. The college parking map is located at http://www.clark.edu/maps/parkingMap.pdf and the full

From I-5 N or S, take the Fourth Plain exit in Vancouver.
From I-5N, turn right on Fourth Plain
From I-5S, turn left on Fourth Plain
Be sure to observe the speed limit of 30 MPH on Fourth Plain!!
Go down the hill until you see McDonalds and Burgerville on the left
Turn right at the light on Fort Vancouver Way.
Lower your speed to 25 MPH!!
Go up the hill
Just before the top, watch for the rather small Clark College
Foundation sign on the right
Turn into Parking Lot 2

(Don't miss the parking lot turn or you will have to take the an immediate left into the Parking Lot 1, turn around and go back down Fort Vancouver Way, turn around by the McDonalds and come back up the hill.)

In the parking lot, go straight back toward the large blue Clark College Foundation/Brown House sign.
At the sign, turn right The hexagonalish brown building on your left is the foundation office Park in the fenced area at the end of the parking lot.

The next meeting of the Portland, Oregon User's Group will be on Thursday, September 11, from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m.

Nancy Hartman at Portland Community College-Sylvania campus has
graciously offered to host the meeting. Our topic will be "Creating a User Manual" and
will be presented by Faith Danforth, formerly with The Library
Foundation and now at Mercy Corps.

Because we are limited to 30 people, it will be first come, first
served registration. Please try to limit the number of people
coming from one organization so we can accomodate as many member
organizations as possible.

September 5. If we fill up before the registration deadline, Chris will
email the repdx listserv to let everyone know.
