I'm wondering what people's experiences have been with user groups. I've been trying to coordinate one in my area for over a year. (Yes, I'm serious - over a year). It takes weeks to get a response, or I get no response at all. I let it go for a while, because I don't want to "beg" Blackbaud to do a user group. I've tried to get the conversation going with them again though because I do want to get one going but I can't believe I've been working on this since 2006 (I've saved my email history). I've already said we would host & I have a location, so I don't understand the problem.
So... how have other people done with setting up a group? Do you get a timely response from Blackbaud? Maybe I'm better off trying to establish one independently. Any thoughts??
