Has anyone here been to an NTEN conference? If so, I'm wondering if you thought it was worthwhile. Are there any other ones out there relevant to nonprofits & technology that people recommend?

I've thought about it, but no. We are technically a NTEN Affiliate group but I haven't done much work on that front.

I was signed up for the NTEN conference when it was in DC, but could not attend at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances. The NTC is in New Orleans this year and I would really like to go, but may not be able to justify the travel expense.

I'm concerned about the expense too. I glanced at the agenda & it looks like there really aren't any sessions on the first day - just affinity groups. But other than Blackbaud and TAG (http://tagtech.org/), I'm not familiar with other NP technology events.
