I just went to register for the Baltimore user group and it's full! So, why not start one right here??
Anyone out there in Washington DC interested in having a user's group? I'm really interested in meeting others in the area using RE and FE, networking, and all that jazz.

Phone your account manager at Blackbaud and have them help you recuit. That person will have a monthly newsletter they send to their clients. Besides, honestly the hardest element of organizing a user group is finding a location.
Rick - I did attend a users group a while back, but only once. One of the biggest issues is space. Are you able to provide a meeting space for a users group meeting? My office is not Metro accessible and the conference room is not big enough ...

Per Chris's suggestion, I'll email my RE account manager (he's probably your account manager too since they're assigned by region) and see if he can drum up some other folks for us.
We have a meeting room here that can accommodate 20-25 people.

Even though we're small, we are considered an enterprise level org and have a national account manager, Neal Kraemer, assigned to us. I will email him as well to see if he has other DC area clients.
