Rep Power: 0 | Custom inquiry form Has anyone utilized the API interface to enable the addition of a simple form (In EE - Admissions) to capture Inquiry information? It would be great to have a simple form that has the inquiry at the top with their address and phone, email, etc and then sections below for relations. On each section, choose the relation type, click "same address as inquiry" or enter new address, enter phone, email for that relation and repeat for another relation. Then you just click submit, the record is created in EE-Admissions and the linkages all occur in the background.
The biggest complaint I constantly run into from clients and users of Admissions office (and this goes back over 10 years) is the time consuming process of entering an inquiry (and the inquiry parents) - more specifically, having to flip all around making sure everyone is linked. One should be able to enter the inquiry informatiuon on the screen as one would record the same information on a piece of paper. The form would be fairly straightforward but could the linkages all be created?
NetInquiry gets you part of the way there but an EE support rep told me today that it only has the capability to enter one relation of the inquiry. I read the documentation but I wasn't able to confirm this.
Maybe this could be an open source project. I'm sure this is something that could be shared. It would sure make a lot of AO staff happy.
