We have a client that has been running it and other BB products in the vmware environment for over a year now with no issues. BB support does state that they do not support their product in vmware but my client has never had an issue when calling in. He just treats the call like he has the program running on a stand alone server.

Hi we currently using all of our blackbaud products in a VMware ESX server environment. Everything runs great. We actually noticed an improvement in the performance of the software once we move to the virtual environment. If you need any information on completing these task feel free to contact me.
