Migrating Mission: Fundraising South of the Border

Speaker:Jake Dell Session Description: Does your organization run programs in other countries? If so, it's time to begin tapping into the philanthropic aspirations of those closest to the people and places where your programs are making a difference. In this session, a representative of The Legion of Christ will share what his organization learned from Spanish-speaking counterparts about what works and what doesn't when raising money south of the border. The session will include discussion about the fundraising maturity of the market, what American practices can be applied, and what should be done differently to raise money from a non-American, non-English-speaking donor base.
