I am upgrading reports from CR8.5 to CR XI and finding that XI has turned all my joins to inner joins. But I want them to be outer joins. When I change them to left outer joins I get an error message reading the database which says: "Database Connector Error: DAO Error code 0xce0"

This can solved by changing to Inner Joins, but then parent constituent records with no daughter records in certain tables don't show up, and that's no good since I need them in there.

Any thoughts?

Have you tried updating the datasource?

Turned out the problem was a mixture of inner joins and outer joins in the same data source.
