I need to have a formula that will work if a field contains on of these items to come back true, can anyone tell me what type of formula would work. Currently I am using the "in" function with an "or" seperator and it does not pick up one of the fields.
I want to print a message if someone has paid by stock. It is a 2 part formula, the first one comes with either a true or false answer, then depending on that answer will print the appropriate message.
I find that the formula works on some records and doesn't on others and I can't figure out why.
Yeah, I mean, that's why you might have gotten an error message when you tried Melissa's formula, because it's showing up on the board here without the square brackets around the array.
Thank you for all your help, the formula works. But I now realize that if the last gift in the list returns a false answer the statement about stock does not print. Does anyone know of a way to do that.
You need to do a Maximum() for the group of records. I'm assuming that this group will be based on constituent, but it really could be any relevant group.
