Question Zero amounts or restricting columns?

Hi all, I have just completed the Blackbaud intro. crystal class and upon attempting to create the reports my managers need I have realized how little they taught us!

Can anyone help me with dealing with zeros or restricting columns to only certain sections of a report?

I am working on a report for our grants manager, and there are two columns, amount asked and amount funded (from the proposal tab in RE) that are giving me trouble. When the grant status is submitted or declined I don't want a bunch of zeros to show up in the report in the amount funded column, there should just be blank white space. Is there a way to have zero amounts just show as blank white space and not currency formatted zero amounts, or better yet, eliminate the amount funded column in the other two grouped fields, but keep it in the first one?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Right click on the field that you want to blank out, click format field, then click the check box next to "suppress" on the common tab. Click the "x-2" formula box on the right side (next to suppress), and put in this formula (replacing {field} with the field)

Code:
if {field} = 0 then
   True
else
   False
now if the field is 0, it'll be blank

I usually right click and open the format editor and click suppress then in the forumla next to it I will enter {field}=0

This way I can turn it on or off
