I thought I'd use RE's pivot reports to build a cumulative giving history by month and year, but I would like the years to be in the column field area and the months to be in the row area field. They are grouped together.

If I export my query and then open it in Excel, I can design the report perfectly.

If I use RE pivot reports, and export to Excel, it keeps the Gift Dates Year/Month/etc together even though I can independently drag each one to the table.

I hope this isn't too confusing a post, but there is probably some checkbox somewhere that will allow me to ungroup these fields - right clicking on the field does not give me that option (it is grayed out).
