My university is considering the purchase of Researcher's Edge. We currently use Raiser's Edge. Before purchasing Researcher's Edge, I would like to know if there are any weak areas to this system, or limitations, or anything else that we should be aware of before making a decision. We have RE:Search and it is quite an asset. I would highly recommend it. We will be purchasing Prospect Point and Wealthpoint models if we go ahead with purchasing Researcher's Edge. Thanks for the responses.

I use both RE and TRE. TRE isn't bad for what it does, but it does have it's fair share of issues; usually with integration. It takes a little tweaking to get it right, but once done, you're pretty much good to go.
