I have a consultant who is going to write a custom report for us on our EducationEdge application. He wants to create a query using MS Query - but I'm not able to tell him how to link to the database. We are running EE version 7.5 - I know the name of the database - just not sure how to create the link.
Any suggestions you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Assuming that it's the same as RE, it creates an ODBC connection to your database when you install EE. You simply use that to connect to the database. I can't help you with the database structure, because I don't have access to EE.

Thanks Drew - turns out - I needed an unlock code in order to establish the ODBC connection with EE. I'm on my way - although now I have a new slew of questions - which I will be posting under appropriate headings.
Moving on!
