Apologies if this had been answered elsewhere but couldn't see anything.
Can anyone give me some simple steps to installing a plugin written in VB6 please?
I've created my DLL, put it in the plugins directory, registered it, but whener I try installing it I get the message "The specified library does not contain any valid Plug-Ins"
I know getting them to work with .Net was bit more hassle but I thought with VB6 was supposed to be simple so if aynbody has any suggestions as to where I'm going wrong then that would be great.

I assume that you are using the install plugin "functionality" from within Raiser's Edge. Don't bother. I don't really know how that works or is supposed to work either. Just putting it in the plugins directory and registering it with regsvr32 shoudl be enough. Check out my blog posting here:
