VBA for Dummies?

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a good book for learning how to code in VBA. I seem to have lost all my VB programming knowledge

What application are you talking about (word, excel, access, power point, or outlook). I know I have one book that covers most of these programs. I also know that you can buy books just for that one application.

I would say VBA for Dummies wouldn't be bad then. it teaches you the basics, along with the RE help manual, since BB has there own objects.

I don't know of a specific book but I would steer clear of books that target a VBA application. Indeed you may be better off getting a general VB6 book. There is not that much difference between the basics of VBA and VB6. The main differences are using the controls (they have different toolsets). If you are interested in learning how to use the various controls then perhaps it is worth getting a VBA book but if you are after the basics then get a VB6 book. The problem with VBA books is that they will invariably concentrate on a specific type of VBA. Or if they do not do that then they will have chapters covering some Word, Excel and Access VBA which is totally irelavent to RE as these applications have their own APIs.
