My organization is in the early planning stages of deploying RE 7.x. We already use FE (whatever the latest version is), and I'd very much (VERY MUCH) like to avoid manually installing RE like I must with FE.
The install manual is very cryptic about group policy installs, and I found out the hard way Blackbaud support won't talk about them at all. So far, it seems if I can get all the prerequisites installed first, RE will in fact install via gpo. The only stumbling block there seems to be getting the crystal run-time pushed out. I can't find any tips anywhere about that.
Otherwise I'll need to figure out how to get a script of some sort to run the setup.exe, and I don't particularly like my odds there.
At any rate, since BB isn't talking, I was wondering if anyone here would? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

RE: Installation of Raisers Edge 7.x via group policy
no its in the right spot. I was never able to figure this out either. I gave up and do it manually now from a network share that holds the install files.
