Is anyone familiar enough with linked cells in RE able to help me. I want to link a column to another column but if the cell is blank to have the linked cell show also as blank.

Currently if the original cell is blank but the format is number the linked cell shows a 0, if it is a date is shows as 1/1/00. Is there any known way around this?

Here are two examples:

=If(IsBlank(A1),"",A1)

=If(IsBlank([source.xls]Sheet1!A1), "", [source.xls]Sheet1!A1)
