RE7 and The Softedge ZipMatch, does anyone else use it?
I represent a DC based non-profit that uses RE7 for development as well as some advocacy work. Because of the latter use, we have a need to match congressional districts to our constituents and so we have been employing ZipMatch by The Softedge (http://www.thesoftedge.com/). Unfortunately the process that is needed to do this matching process takes us 4+ hours for every update we do as we have to do an export from RE7, input that export into ZipMatch, and then re-import the results into RE7 with some other more convoluted and painful steps excluded for simplicity.
The Softedge has written a SQL connector for ZipMatch (and we are using MS SQL) which should simplify this process, however before try and use it, we'd like to know if anyone's ever used ZipMatch with the SQL connector? If so have you had any issues with corruption?
If no one is familar with either does anyone know of another piece of software that will match congressional districts which integrates with RE?
