I doubt there's enough of us to get the same sort of coverage - reports on every session, etc - plus, there'll probably be a lot of repetition between the two. But we can certainly try to give some feedback on anything noteworthy that comes up.

I agree with Simon. I don't think that there are enough UK people on the forum. It would be interesting to find out how many UK people regularly read the forums though.
I would argue that having the conference covered in here will increase traffic to the site by UK members. We've had about 20 new memebrs join in the last 2 days, likely because of the Charleston conference.

Last year I met a couple of people from, if I remember rightly, the University of Reykjavik (sp?). But certainly upwards of 95% of delegates are likely to be UK-based.

How are we going to let the UK Users know about it? Aren't there separate BB Forums for the North American and UK customers? Much of our advertising so far has been through our signatures on the BB Forum. Are there enough UK Users with enough posts on the BB UK Forum to make an impression?

1) Current UK-based forum members talk to their collegues to promote the forum
2) If the forum presence makes an impact at the Charleston conferece, can we ask BB to refer the UK attendees to us?

The BB Europe forums have had three posts in total since August - not much help there!

Maybe we need a list of forum members going to the conference. I have a feeling, though, that it may be only me and David. Does two people constitute a list?

Sorry to say, currently I am unable to go. Its quite expensive for an independant. Would love to go and I may yet manage it but for now Simon you are on your own!
I talked to Carolyn, the European conference organizer and she is onboard. I've asked her if she would mention the site to attendees once the forum and thread structure is created to match the way we did it for Charleston.

I'm in the same boat as a DavidZ, an independent contractor and would love to attend the UK/European conference but the cost is off putting. However I feel it is really important to get more UK users on this forum and I'll put the word out to everyone I know.
