The List - Pre Poll as of 10-5=-6

This is the "pre poll list" - so (once it's posted) Please review and if I need to recategorize any suggestion, just give me the number located to the left of the suggestion (makes it much easier to find in my table) and the revised location for it.

I plan on posting the polls on Sunday so we can have next week to vote.

Any suggestions on when/how/where to forward the poll results to BB prior to our meeting? Have they mentioned a "due date"?

Thanks everyone!
Elaine

39. This should be grouped with 87, 94, and 107.

53 and 57 sound like they are the same thing.

It should be made clearer that 141 refers specifically to queries.

23 should be moved to Admin > Import with 25 and 29, both of which were responses to 23.

32 is a clarification and expansion on 13. These two should be in the same group.

30 and 59 are the same.

Getting Poll Results to Charleston

I just had a call from Bucky Wall @ Blackbaud concerning our "needs" for the meeting. In addition to Shaun Sullivan, he is going to have the RE product manager, the program manager, and some of the designers. I suggested that we send the list to then by Wednesday Oct. 18th, if that is feasible. I can send it to Bucky, and he will see that it gets distributed to the right people at BB prior to our meeting.

The product manager is the one who reviews all suggestions and prioritizes them, then passes them to the program manager. The program manager, and the designers are the ones who determine which ones can be done in time for the next release. Since a new release will come out in November, his is a good time to be talking about the possible changes for the release following that one.

By having all of these people present they can be sure the suggestions are understood and can give us some reasons if they don't think a particular suggestion can go into the next release.

The countdown is on -- less thantwo weeks to go!

I think you guys are doing an awesome job putting this together. Given that it is all running so smoothly, I am going to do what I can to ensure that it doesn't end here. If we can pull this off, I want to create a permanent arrangement with the forum being used as a filter for suggestions to the developers.

The fact that we have gotten this far proves the concept of what I wanted this forum to be. We are filling a need that may not have been perceived by Blackbaud before, and that warms my heart.

Could this end up being a large part of our mandate?
