Just to get a look at what you are dealing with you could do a constituent query with or without critera, the output would be Primary Addressee and the sort Primary Addressee. I would then export it to Excel so I could easily delete the correct ones. Mr. and Mrs. would all be grouped and deleted from the spreadsheet leaving the ones that need to be corrected.

I agree with Melissa about the overuse of Editable in some organizations (mine). Is it because of laziness? Maybe, but I would like to believe that it is because, for some people, faster to type the address than scan the list.
