Rep Power: 0  | We upgraded to Microsoft Office 2007 and then Raiser's Edge 7.82 and discovered that those on Microsoft Office 2007 could not access pivot reports and we also lost some of the Outlook integration functionality. Working with Blackbaud, we found we had to fix the dll files. We had to manually fix on every workstation. After that access to pivot reports was resolved.
I would also recommend sharing with your staff which version they should be on, ask them to check and ensure they have that version, and if not, to let the appropriate RE support person know.
With your upgrade announcement, you might consider asking your staff to go into Raiser's Edge and open it to activate the upgrade on their workstation.
Otherwise, it was a smooth transition for us. We just went live mid-August with RE so we are really fairly new with all of this. |
