7.80 would probably run fine. We have several PIII/512 machines that have no issues.

Blackbaud just sent me a 7.80 install with the latest patch for a test server I'm building (we're not ready for 7.81 either). If you plead your case you should be able to get it.

We only replace three machines a year and my "test server" is actually just a juiced up workstation from our last rotation. But it's better than nuttin', honey!
